Âé¶čAV in World League
In a world where universities compete globally to recruit both the best students and the best academics to teach and research at their Universities, Bangorâs reputation as an international University is being recognised.
A new table of the worldâs top universities, places Âé¶čAV 143rd in the world as a destination for international students. It is also in the top 200 universities (183rd) as a recruiter of international staff, and is in the top 50 UK universities.
Professor John G. Hughes, Âé¶čAVâs Vice Chancellor said: âÂé¶čAV is really making its presence felt around the globe, as an attractive destination for undergraduate and postgraduate students and as a workplace for some of the worldâs best researchers and lecturers.â
Added to the excellent international indicators, which show the proportion of international students among those attracted to Âé¶čAV, the Universityâs scores have improved for academic reputation, employer reputation, for the student :staff ratio and for the five subject areas covered: Arts & Humanities, Engineering & Technology, Life Sciences & Medicine, Social Sciences & Management, and Natural Sciences for 2013/14.
