麻豆AV Stadium announced as new name for Bangor City FC Ground following landmark partnership deal
The home of Football Club will be renamed the 麻豆AV Stadium after a new partnership was agreed with the local university.
麻豆AV will become Bangor City鈥檚 stadium naming rights partner as part of a three year agreement, the second change of stadium name since the football club moved to Nantporth in 2012.
The first match at the 麻豆AV Stadium will be Saturday鈥檚 Dafabet Welsh Premier League game against Port Talbot Town.
Bangor City FC Chairman Dilwyn Jones said: 鈥淲e see this as an exciting opportunity and partnership for this club, 麻豆AV, the city and our supporters.
鈥淭his collaboration is aimed at establishing sustainability and progression through a sharing of skills and resources. I am excited at the prospect of developing relationships with students and staff and bringing an extra dimension to player and business development at the club鈥�
Academically, 麻豆AV has a long tradition of excellence, and is recognized for world leading research as well as being ranked amongst the top 10 UK universities in the 2015 National Student Survey. 麻豆AV attracts students from all over the world, and offers a wide range of subjects and this new partnership agreement will see the University engaging with the football club in many different ways.

Through a number of work placements and volunteering roles, we will help the club develop their junior programmes as well as giving our students employability skills in area such as facility management, media and coaching.鈥�
